Visit of DNT commission in Ahmedabad.
Budhan theatre took the issue of rehabilitation of a ghetto of DNT in Maninagar Bast before 10 years. Along with the support of the students of DAIICT, Gandhinagar, Shyam Benegal Veteran film maker has stood with budhan theatre and took the issue. As a result the DNT comission was forced to visit the locality. It visited the locality of May 16, 2007.

I am manjit bhana from delhi.I am a senior manager in a bank. I want to draw the attention of allof you on the tv programme telecast on loksabha tv on 7/4/2008.the chief spokesmen were shri Renke the chairman of dnt commission and shri Hari Bhau Rathod M P(loksabha). Shri Haribhau Rathod also belongs to DNT community. In the programme the chairman advised that he has recommended to the Govt. that the people of dnt are living a very marginal life equal to Narak(hell) so require immediate attention of Govt.of India to improve their lots by taking appropriate steps incuding. separate allocation of fund in the annual budget. there should be third list as scheduled dnt in the Constitution of India. You please follow it up and write letters to media, loksabha tv, Govt. of India, state Govt. Hundreds of letters from all over india should be sent immediatly to create pressure. We should also set role model for younger generations
