Budhanotsav - Celebration of one decade of Theatre Practice

Budhan Theatre completing it’s 10 years in the month of July 2008. We want to say our struggle story to practice Theatre in stigmatized community through celebration of 10 years of Budhan Theatre. We want to invite all the Budhan Theatre friends. Programme yet to be finalized. We will keep post in this colum.

• About Budhan Theatre

  A population of some 60 million “denotified tribes” can be found throughout India today. Since 1998, Budhan Theatre has performed street plays to raise awareness about the condition of such tribes. Their goal is to demonstrate that Chharas are not “born criminals,” they are humans with real emotions, capacities, and aspirations.
